Our Mission
To uphold the dignity of persons with disabilities through the sharing and practice of knowledge and skills.
Our Objectives
1. To provide life entrepreneurship skills and expertise to beneficiaries.
2. To promote equity, equality, and the rights of persons with disabilities through the social model of disability and the human rights-based approach to service provision.
3. Link project beneficiaries to relevant institutions and organizations for further training.
4. Create awareness and foster an attitude change towards persons with disabilities among families (parents and guardians).
5. Train parents and guardians in basic management skills and communication with PWDs.

These items showcase their talents and support their independence, reflecting the foundation’s mission to empower persons with disabilities through skill-sharing and entrepreneurship.

SERVICES
PETERPOL Friends of Jesus Disabled Foundation offers life and entrepreneurship skills training, promotes equity and rights for people with disabilities, connects beneficiaries to further training opportunities, raises disability awareness among families, and trains parents and guardians in basic management and communication skills for persons with disabilities.

Lilian Nalubwama’s life story deeply inspired Rev. Fr. Peter Kaboggoza to establish the PETERPOL FRIENDS OF JESUS DISABLED FOUNDATION. Born a healthy and joyful girl, Lilian’s life took a tragic turn at six months when she contracted malaria. Unfortunately, a delayed diagnosis led to cerebral malaria, severely affecting her health despite treatment with quinine. Her resilience and determination, even in the face of such challenges, profoundly impacted Fr. Peter. Lilian's strength and the struggles she endured served as a catalyst for creating a foundation dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and ensuring they receive care, dignity, and opportunities.
